I am truly honored and excited to be the Houston Flute Club President for this upcoming 30th anniversary year.  There is much to celebrate as we honor our rich history and those members who have given so much in the past.  We in the Houston area are so lucky to live in a city where culture abounds and music and the arts thrive!  My hope is that as we look forward, our members will be increasingly inspired to share their joy of music and the flute with the community of which we are a part.  Look for upcoming opportunities to share your performing and teaching talents with the public.  Imagine a sunny Sunday where you bring your flute to Discovery Green or Hermann park and play with other club members - just for the fun of sharing your music with others.  This is a reality I want to help make happen, because I believe as flute club members our passion is beyond competitions and masterclasses.  I hope our mission expands your idea of what you can do with the flute!

"Moving forward by giving back."
