The Houston Flute Choir
The Houston Flute Club Flute Choir has been in existence for over 23 years, consisting of flute players in Houston and the surrounding region. It consists of flutists of a variety of levels and varied walks of life, from performers and
teachers to amateurs.

About the Director
DR. YVONNE KENDALL earned a Master’s degree in flute performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and a doctorate from Stanford University. She conducted the world premiere of Gary Schocker’s “Flutum Mysterium” for the Texas Flute Society and contributes regularly to Flutist’s Quarterly, a journal of the National Flute Association.
